Supervision
includes the following activities of a licensed engineer:
 Ascertains the conformity of construction provisions,
construction permit, position and building outline (gabaritima
građevine)
Determines whether the general contractor fulfils all the
conditions prescribed by specific construction laws
Familiarizes contactors with the building site and defines
specific tasks
Controls the accuracy of surveying coordinates
Undertakes control procedures of conformity and quality
approvals for specific building segments
Controls and monitors work is in accordance with the
approved design documentation, monitors time schedule and
financial plans
Reviews and gathers proof of quality
According to contractual time schedule, prepares reports
based on observations and testing of materials
Periodically notifies the Client regarding the project’s
status or of a particular event on the project
Prepares a final report whose contents are prescribed by
the Ministry and which is used for the buildings’ technical
evaluation
Indicates the design shortcomings or necessary design
changes
